Water Harvesting

By harvesting and infiltrating the rain, you can hydrate your landscape while reducing use of city water, and help mitigate flooding and erosion.

Passive Waterharvesting

Passive waterharvesting is the shaping and contouring of land to better hold and infiltrate water landing on site. Native plants that have adapted to the cycle of rain in the Sonoran Desert can thrive within these systems.

Active Waterharvesting

The use of cisterns and rainwater tanks help to actively capture water and hold it for future use. This is a great way to supplement fruit trees, gardens, and other plants that benefit from frequent irrigation.

Greywater

The reuse and redirection of household water is a great way to supplement edible trees and shrubs. There are city rebates available for connecting laundry machines to the landscape.
